Internal Martial Arts, Qigong and Meditation in Seaford and Hastings

Tai Chi Chuan, Kung Fu, Qigong and meditation trained as one method. Learn to feel, connect and generate real internal power. New students: your first hour is free.

Learn to feel, connect and use what you feel

Most classes teach you to follow movements. Here you learn what makes them work.

We train perception first, learning to feel what is happening inside the body, then connection, so the body moves and generates power as one unit, then control and application, in partner work, martial technique and meditation with real world results.

Tai Chi Chuan, Kung Fu and Qigong are the methods. Meditation is taught as concentration and consciousness training, based on Franz Bardon’s Initiation Into Hermetics.

Testimonials

Phenomenal classes

I’ve been coming to Jon’s classes since January of 2024 and was quite nervous when I began, having had no experience of martial arts at all. What I found was a small group with an excellent teacher, all very welcoming. Jon is vastly experienced and (thankfully!) very patient. It might sound cliché but the classes, particularly Tai Chi, have been transformative. Highly recommended to both the experienced and the beginner.

Change your life

I have been doing meditation, Qigong and Tai Chi with Jon for nearly three years and it has changed my life. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Yvonne

Highly recommended

I have been with Jon for almost ten years, which is testimony itself for the quality and depth of his instruction in Tai Chi and Qigong.

Jon Younghusband

Our lineage & story

Jon has trained internal martial arts since 2009, and taught since 2015, in the Long Ying Kuen (Dragon Style Kung Fu) lineage passed down from Lam Yiu Gwai to Lam Yiu Dong to Cheung Kwok-Tai and Tom Braithwaite. That means long apprenticeship with a teacher, not a weekend certificate. His Qigong and meditation training is with Mark Rasmus, a teacher of Franz Bardon’s Hermetic system, and in Elastic Force Qigong.
